We had a wonderful day with Salvador.
He pickrd us up and drove us to the Tulum ruins.
Where he guided us through them giving us history and all kinds of information that was very fun and educational. He also took some amazing photos for us to have. Then we drove to the beach where we were able to get on a boat and given snorkel equipment to use. He got in the water with us, he showed us different types of fish and coral. Then as we swam we saw and swam around 3 sea turtles and several sting rays of all sizes. It was an incredible day.
Salvador is very friendly and full of information.
Afterwards he took us to a little restaurant to have authentic mayan food that was delicious.
We would do this again in a heartbeat. We totally recommend this company for your tours.

Salvado was amazing! Very attentive and knowledgeable. We toured the Tulum ruins on foot, which we’ve done before but found the additional insight useful. We had a great time!

Sal is fantastic! He is super knowledgeable as he led us through the ruins. The snorkeling was awesome as well and we were lucky to see sting rays and multiple turtles! Finished the day with the best lunch we had in Tulum - right on the beach and incredible fish tacos and local food. Highly recommend spending your day in Tulum with Sal!

This was such an amazing experience! I did a lot of research and also emailed Salvador several questions ahead of booking, and I have to say, Salvador is the best—he’s responsive to questions ahead of time, knowledgeable at answering questions on the tour, flexible and relaxed, and just provides an overall great guide service. We had a group of six for a private tour for my birthday, and we all had such a great time! He’s great at not just guiding you and sharing the history, culture, and facts, but also taking group photos at excellent spots along the way. The boat guide that he took us out snorkeling with was also excellent and guided us along the reef perfectly so we could see sea turtles and sting rays! We ended the day at an excellent local restaurant, where we had amazing food that our group is still talking about five days later. On top of all that, the van was extremely clean, and Salvador brought water and cookies for us to enjoy between visiting the ruins and the snorkeling. I’ve been on a lot of excursions in different parts of the world, and most are larger groups where you’re packed in with 50 other people and trying to hear, but this was such a better experience because of the small group size. The price is such a great value for your money, and I highly, highly recommend Best Maya Tours and Salvador if you want a fantastic local tour company. Thanks for a great birthday excursion, Salvador! We hope to see you again in the future!
