Our equipment and our qualified and experienced teachers offer a multitude of choices for diving in the spots of the coast for both beginners and experienced divers.

Use of SCUBA equipment
- CHILD: : 10 - 14

- Face masks required for travellers in public areas
- Gear/equipment sanitised between use
- Hand sanitiser available to travellers and staff
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Paid stay-at-home policy for staff with symptoms

- Full Scuba Diving equipment available for rent $ 25 USD at the shop

Great day in Costa Maya

My family if 5 spent the day with Charlie and Cesar. My 17 ye old and I did a 2-tank dive. My 21 yr old, 12 yr old and wife did the snorkeling. Charlie was very patient and accommodating as we were a little late arriving to his shop. (Costa Maya port is a little tricky navigating out of). Spent morning doing dives and then had some time for lunch at Ya Ya beach which was fantastic. Cabs are easy to get to and from the port and you are about 10 minutes from port. Taxi was $4 per person.
This is the Best Dive Shop!!

My husband and I were lucky enough to do a private 2 tank dive with Charlie 2 days ago. We’ve been diving all around the world, but I have to say, this was the best reef dive we’ve ever done. The coral is so healthy and the animals are so diverse. You can tell the guides ( especially Charlie ) truly care about the reef and want you to have an amazing experience. Start to finish a wonderful time!! Book with them, you will not be disappointed. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!!!
Mahahual diving experience with Doctor Dive Cost Center

It was a great experience to dive through this operator in Banco Chinchorro ( In 2 sites: Coral Negro & Jardines) very nice reefs with special corals. We had a very good guide, Cesar
Doctor Dive, the Place to dive in Costa Maya

In the early steps of researching a dive shop in Puerto Costa Maya I was exchanging e-mails with Charlie. Charlie was very personable and he took the time to answer al my questions and explain everything in detail. Communication with Charlie was on point.
When the big day had arrived, I had the pleasure of meeting Charlie who paired me up with a Divemaster for the day, Lucy. Lucy was so much fun to be around and she took excellent care of me as we dived various sites. I had also requested their photo and video package and Lucy did an excellent job of documenting both my dives. Everyone loves the video she made along with the pictures she took. The staff was very personable and friendly, other divers came in and chatted with me and they were very welcoming.
I arrived in Costa Maya as part of a Royal Caribbean tour. It was very easy to get a taxi from the cruise port to the dive shop. The dive shop is very neat and clean and is on the perfect location on the beach. At the end of my dive, Lucy had rinsed off my gear and when I was ready to leave, Charlie hailed a taxi for me. The drive from the port to the shop is about 10 min and as of Sept 2022, it cost $8 one way. That being said, make sure you have change for the cab. Doctor Dive is a professional, friendly shop, I highly recommend it if you're in Costa Maya and I'm already ready to plan a return trip to them!

Doc Dive is great despite rough weather

Went to Costa Maya on RC ship. Taxi to YaYa Beach Club next to Doc Dive and trip back to ship we’re all easy w/o problems. We brought all our own dive gear and they took good care of it. Antonio was our DM and was great to dive with and very safety oriented and showed us lots of interesting reef critters. Doc Dive was good to work with and I recommend them for diving. My only disappointments were that it was very windy, boat was really getting thrown around and wind had all the sediment kicked up so visibility was 30 to 50 ft. The reefs also looked a bit rough. Some algae covered dead coral and some live coral. Sponges were generally okay but some were also sick w/some white blotches. Not the best selection of fish either but we did see several species of angel fish that were the largest I had ever seen. Doc Dive did the best they could with less than optimal diving conditions.
