idakathrine, 13-11-2022
Got Alan as a dive instructor and he was the greatest! Very good at speaking english, so kind, friendly, gave good advice and funny! We had 2 days with him at Cenotes and loved both of them! 10/5 stars to him!
Thank you so much!
100% recommend for cenote dive

I went on the 2 dives in cenote Dos Ojos tour and had an AMAZING time. It was my first time diving in a cenote and my guide Hairo was great at giving safety instructions as well as sharing plenty of information about the formation of cenotes, the region of Quintana Roo and the Tulum area. Also, I was fortunate enough to be the only one on the tour, so I had it all to myself. Very professional service offered by Agua Clara, I highly recommend it.

Brilliant morning of cenote diving (The Pit and Dos Ojos) with Alberto - talked us through each dive beforehand, pointed out all of the interesting things to see in the cenotes, and gave us lots of info on the local wildlife afterwards. Fab lunch provided too, as well as transport to and from the shop. Definitely recommend!
MUST DO in Tulum!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience diving the Dos Ojos cenotes for the first time in Tulum! Our dive instructor, Beto, did a great job making us feel comfortable and providing the best experience possible! We highly recommend and will definitely be back. This is a must do for certified divers!
Amazing places, less than ideal guidance.

First of all, the cenote‘s are an absolutely beautiful place to dive and I highly recommend exploring these. However, I think there’s a lot of room in improvement for our particular guide (not dropping the name) who is not very reassuring to oke of my group members of the safety concerns about how the actual procedure will take on these particular endeavors.
He seemed plagued by indifference and ignorance, and seemed as though the guide was more concerned with just getting us over the entire experience, rather than forwarding the qualms about particular elements in a relatively dangerous place to be diving. In short, a friend and mine chose to skin dive based on the fact that the water temperatures implied were not that cold.
It is not the guides fault that one of us forgone wearing a wetsuit, however it was not reassuring that he tried to play the situation off once in the water and did not emphasize the importance more during the wet suit fitting. Furthermore, I assumed requesting an English speaking tour guide that we would be paired with a Spanish-speaking individual on our trip. This isn't a big, but there was also another random friend of his on a ride home back from the cenote to town. Kind of crammed for 5 full sized guys.
Again, not deal breakers but for the money spent i would of figured a more individualized experience. For reference, I’m a charter captain by trade full-time, commercial dive for a vessel recovery service in the United States, and have logged over 150 dives. It was a friend of mine who is AOW/ Nitrox certified that had some issues.
TLDR: Enjoy the beautiful cenotes, but maybe look elsewhere to find a more accommodating booking.
